Welcome to KumoTek Robotics |
|
KumoTek is a robotics engineering and design company, located in the
North Texas technology corridor of Richardson, Texas. We provide cutting
edge robotic applications to schools, museums and government agencies
around the country.
Our products include rugged
tracked robots with or
without manipulator (arms) for disaster area recovery, police, fire
and rescue operations. Our robots save lives by removing the human
element from potentially dangerous situations. Our talent doesn't stop
there, however. KumoTek is a leading manufacturer and design house for
robots used in
classroom education and
interactive
entertainment, such as our KT-X Bipedal Robot and Conversational
Interactive Museum Robot, ARTI.
Our most recent
development, the MK-705 Roosterbot, integrates 4 heavy duty flippers, a powerful
twin-belt drive train, dual video cameras, and a 360 duty manipulator.
This robot is capable of climbing small to medium sized obstacles and
can carry a modest payload over hazardous terrain, all while sending
real time video feed to the operator control unit. As a compact
and light weight alternative to similar robots currently in the field,
the MK-705 fits into a customized military rucksack and can be deployed
within seconds of initialization.
We have earned a stellar
reputation in the industry for designing, developing and bringing
unique and practical robotic applications to market, so whether it's building interactive entertainment robots, like ARTI the
Intel Museum robotics mascot, or delivering state-of-the-art service
robots to our troops in Iraq, KumoTek is committed to building top of
the line robotics applications.
